This is my blog Directory Okay, I'm not homeless anymore. It has been over a year since I updated this page. I have been living in temporary accommodation in Thebarton, downtown Adelaide. I've got most of my possessions crammed into one little room, and the front verandah. I don't really have a studio set up, but that will happen soon. I've enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in Media at the University of Adelaide - that is keeping me very busy. To find my latest blog go to BLOGLOFT and to get to my other uni blog for digital stories go to MEDIA - STORY IDEAS.

Still homeless in Adelaide It has been a whole month now. Flitting around from place to place. All of our furniture and most of our possessions are still locked in the back of a truck inside Cecere's music warehouse where Tim works. We still have nowhere to put anything. We still don't have a home. Thankmy lucky stars that I have a sweet sister who said she would put me up for a couple of days. That has streteched to a couple of weeks and now is almost a month. I wrote a good song at the bus stop the other night. I wrote a good song in my head. I still don't have anything down on paper. I'm homesess here in Adelaide, staying at my sister's for a couple of days . . . I've got no where else to live just yet . . . so I've been living on the internet . . .

I can tell that June is going to be a horrible month It's just a feeling I have in my bones. You know when your bones start to tingle . . . and shake . . . and you get cramps that feel like some one is trying to tear your leg around the other way. That sort of feeling.
We have been evicted from our home and studio at Northfield. Damn . . .I knew I shouldn't have paid the phone bill . . . but I just had to get the internet on. I knew I would get behind with the rent. Now we are homeless.
It has been a few months since we have composed or recorded anything. We have been flat out uploading files and gathering new sites . . . it is great to have our own broadband after using dial-up, although having dial-up was better than not having the internet at all.

Hooray! At last we have broadband connected. Finally we have our broadband connection. Now I can whiz along and upload and download to my heart's content. This is wild, I don't think I will ever turn the computer off. Non stop internet . . . permanently connected. We have problems with our main pc, which has not been connected to the internet but has picked up a virus from something we've downloaded to the internet and from our mac. The mac just chugs along not caring about viruses or trojan horses or other sorts of manevolent files. The pc has lost all of its networking services. It will not boot from the C partition. Only from Tim's D partition. I can't run any of my programs. He doesn't even have flash installed. This is going to be messy. My best advice was to reformat the hard drive. Oh sure.

Ouch! What is that pc doing?.CuI am having horrible problems with our pc. It is just not behaving. It doesn't want to boot when it should. It doesn't want to run my applications. It doesn't want to connect to the network. It doesn't want to boot from the C partition any more. It doesn't want to go through with the reinstallation of Windows, it wants to do recursive things, loopy recursive things. I wish I had a nice fast mac. Oh well. I had a nice fast pc.

Elves have moved into the bottom of the garden Yes, a big tribe of them seem to be caped out at the bottom of the garden. Occasionally they make a brief foray onto the roof. They chatter amongst themselves all day. Perhaps they are singing. There is a strange eeriness to their melancholy chanting. Maybe they are homesick. I'm sure they mut be getting into the house at night time.Catch another bus to Roy's house and upload some more files. We have some more new bands. Voodoo Vamps have completed their first CD Funky Voodoo, it's not too bad considering they have never recorded anything before. The Kilburn Jazz Masters have finally finished their Quantum Jazz CD and we now have some more multicurltural friends in the Zulu Dolls. They named their CD in honour of myself for my production and compositonal efforts. A great title Lost in Darkest Africa.

More mp3 files. More mp3 files.I need to get the internet on at home. This is madness. Go down to Roys, upload as much as I can. Redesigning pages, uploading mp3 files. Go back home. Change more files. Go down to Roys. Upload. Back on the bus. Edit some more code. Catch another bus . . . upload to the server. Keep uploading those mp3 files 'cos we're nowhere near finished yet. Ah New Year's Eve. Spent the night at the Federal Hotel at Semaphore with the Glen Skuthorpe Band. Hot Hot Hot. Got lots of hugs and kisses from Glen's relatives. Then finally got home sat down . . . and the phone rang . . . of course I'll come and pick you up . . . my sweetness . . . Are we still engaged? Frank Siddarta is working on a solo CD, Frank is Back. He doesn't play as much trumpet on this release, he thinks he can sing.

Keep uploading those files. We have been uploading mp3 files forever and we are not even halfway through. Keep going keep uploading those files. Redesign those pages because they look terrible. Hope that some people will com and have a look and a listen to our bands and to our music. This is absolutely the bestest music you will ever hear on the internet! Christmas comes and goes. We are too busy and too poor to notice.Outlandish Kin have begun their second release, tentatively titled Closer to Home. It sounds a lot tougher than their first release, not quite as commercial. Scratch People have begfun working on tracks for Anti Gravity, I love this rappy hip hop style of music: I'd better see if I can find my basketball shorts.

Registration of radiocurly.com This is our birthday. Radio Curly is a scorpio . . . so that is internet radio from Adelaide, sunny South Australia, internet radio with a bite and a sting. Thanks to Roy from sellingthenet.com for getting us up and letting us upload huge files from his account. Not to mention the viral infection we gave him. But we won't mention that. Cyborg Trance are working on yet another CD, this will be their third; it's called Android Anti Hero. Frank Siddarta is getting really creative and productive.

This is a free template that we found on the net. As you can see<:-> - The designer of this template tried to keep it as close to the original as possible and I have tried not muck it up too much or invalidate the well-written XHTML 1.0 Strict code and the valid CSS styles. I really like the fixed menu on the left. This template was designed for a blog - so this is a bit like the Radio Curly Blog. A short potted history of the Radio Curly Collective.

Here is a short note from the author of this template. (But already we have lost the little boxes that appear like initial caps, I wonder how we will get them back.)

This is my third design for OWD. I tried to keep the layout as simple as possible. As you can see, I chiefly had in mind a blog layout, though I think it would be useful for other purposes. I owe a great deal to the Andreas 07 template, from which I borrowed most of the code to have a fixed menu that works in as many browsers as I could get my hands on. I also received help from several members over at OWD. It validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict, and the CSS passes with a few level 1 warnings (pesky background-color) and one intentional level 2 warning that is a redefinition of padding to ensure proper layout in IE. I release this to the public, I just kindly ask that you keep the credit and link in the footer.
